Gadchiroli July 18 (District Correspondent) The investiture ceremony for the academic session 2023-2024 was held with great pomp and zeal at Carmel High School, Gadchiroli the other day.
The oath of office was administered to the newly elected school cabinet members by Mr. Rajendra Bhuyar, Additional Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Gadchiroli. Mr. Amit Turkar, Executive Engineer of Water Supply Department, Zilla Parishad, Rev. Fr. Jinesh Mathew CMI, School Principal, Rev. Sr. Nancy Tom, vice-principal were the chief guests.
The programme commenced with the lighting of ceremonial lamp which signifies the removal of darkness and continuous upward movement of the wisdom and divinity.
Newly formed council – Tejas Bhandekar, Head Boy and Manali Bhalme, Head
Girl along with Cultural, Literary, Sports, Eco Club, Health, Wellness, Social and
Maths, Science secretaries were honoured with badges by Prin. Fr. Jinesh Mathew CMI and other guests. The oath of allegiance to the newly appointed cabinets was administered by the guests who swore to serve their Alma Mater with utmost sincerity and to the best of their abilities.
The CBSE toppers from class X were felicitated by the principal Fr. Jinesh Mathew on the occasion. Mr. Bhuyar motivated the students and blessed them with his golden views. He urged them to take responsibility like Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam and follow the success of Chandrayan-III.
Principal Fr. Jinesh Mathew attracted all the Carmelites by sharing the story of Rabbit and Lion to inculcate the moral values of struggle and hard work to reach at the target of success.
X th students Ms. Prajakta Raut also expressed her views. A colourful dance was also presented by the students. Ms. Priyanshi Dholne and Nandini Bhaisare conducted the program. The vote of thanks was proposed by Sanskruti Tandale.
