Gadchiroli April 9 (District correspondent) Gurudeo Sewa Mandal district unit has demanded stern action against a man making derogatory statement against Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj.
A delegation of the Mandal met the district collector and submitted him a memorandum in this regard. A few days ago, one Milind Phulzele, a resident of Nagpur, made a post on Facebook making insulting remarks about Rashtrasanta. The memorandum demanded to take criminal action against Phulzele.
The sentiments of the followers of Rashtrasant have been hurt due to this statement. Tukdoji Maharaj always worked for the unity of the people and taught all religion equality through his bhajans and messages throughout his life. It is very unfortunate to criticize the Maharaj in such a low level, said the memorandum.
The statement is highly condemnable. Fulzele needs to be dealt with severely by the law, it added saying that such people harm the whole society and create rift. A criminal action should be taken against him, it was demanded.
