Gadchiroli Feb. 24 (District Correspondent) A Marathi play “Gondwanacha Mahayoddha: Krantiveer Baburao Shedmake” penned by the well-known dramatist Chudaram Balharpure has bagged the Agronews Parivar Charitable Trust.

The award will be presented at a function of the 7th Dharmaveer Sambhaji Maharaj State Level Literary Conference to be held at Phaltan on Feb. 27 next.

The form of this award is cash, badge and certificate. Interestingly, this play is being staged at the international level and was performed at the recently held Janayoddha National Festival in Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh).

Mr. Balharpure is a state award winning playwright from Zadipatti. He has received the excellent literature Award of the Government of Maharashtra. So far, he has published 13 different books and has been honoured with many awards at various levels. Mahamrityunjay Markandeshwar, Bahudhangi Samadhiwale Baba, Special Report, Dharti Aba-Krantisurya Birsa Munda, and Mahayoddha of Gondwana-Krantiveer Baburao Shedmake are his popular plays.
