Gadchiroli April 9 (District Correspondent) Rich tributes were paid to late Barrister Rajabhau Khobragade, Republican Party icon and former Dy. Chairman of Rajya Sabha on his death anniversary by the district unit of All India Republican Party on Sunday morning.
A portrait of Bar. Khobragade was garlanded at the hands of National Vice President of All India Republican Party Rohidas Raut in a programme held at Indira Square of the city. State Vice President Prin. Prakash Dudhe, State Secretary Prof. Rajan Borkar District President Hansraj Undirwade, District General Secretary Prahlad Raipure, Office Secretary Ashok Khobragade, City President Anil Barsagde, Youth President Narendra Raipure, General Secretary Punyawan Sorte, Taluka Vice President Dadaji Dhakde, BRSP District Incharge Raj Bansod, Bouddha Mahasabha General Secretary Prof. Gautam Dange, Youth leader Moon Raipure were prominently present.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Raut described Bar. Khobragade as the true champion of the Dalits and backwards of the country and said he worked throughout his life for the deprived sections and spread the Republican movement allover the country. His mission is needed to be carried forward by strengthening the Republican movement, he stated.
All the workers also paid their floral tributes to the departed leader.
