Gadchiroli April 9 (District correspondent) The producer and actor of Marathi ‘feature film ‘Ghav’ Niketan Ramteke was accorded felicitation by the workers of All India Republican Party at a programme held at the district office of the party recently.
Mr. Ramteke was presented a shawl and bouquet at the hands of the Central vice President of the party Mr. Rohidas Raut. District President Hansraj Undirwade presided over the programme while regional secretary, Prof. Rajan Borkar, Keshavrao Samrutwar, Gadchiroli Assembly chief Pradeep Bhaisare, Office Secretary Ashok Khobragade, Vijay Deotale, Dadaji Dhakde, Women state vice President Surekhatai Barsagade, women’s district president Neeta Sahare, women city president Ms. Wanmala Zade, Jyoti Chaudhari were prominently present.
Dr. Dinkar Ramteke and Ms. Tejasvi Ramteke, the parents of Niketan were also felicitated on the occasion for their contribution in producing the film. Both of them have also played important roles in the film.
A youth from Gadchiroli which is known as backward place in the state has shown the courage of producing the film and has brought the name of Gadchiroli in front of the entire country, is really a matter of great pride for Gadchirolians. Niketan has shown that there is no dearth of talent and skill in the district, said Mr. Raut while speaking on the occasion.
The other guests also appreciated the efforts of Niketan Ramteke and his parents and extended them best wishes for the further career.
