Gadchiroli April 7 (District Correspondent) To celebrate the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, ‘Samata Daud’ (Run for Equity) has been organized in Gadchiroli city on April 14 at 6 am by the ‘Movement for Justice’, a social organization.

The Run will start from Gandhi Chowk and will stop at Dr. Ambedkar Chowk (ITI) and is open to all the people and all age groups. There is no any entry fees for participation in this race and all participants will be given T-shirts and certificates. The prizes of Rs. 5000, 3000 and 2000 respectively for the first, second and third runners will be given. Race from Gandhi Chowk to Bazar Chowk is for the age group of 51 to 75 years and the first, second and third runners in this race will be given prizes of Rs 3000, 2000 and 1000 respectively. ‘Equality’, ‘Liberty’ and ‘Fraternity’ are the basic values ​​of the democratic system adopted by the modern society as a way of life. Mahatma Jyotiba Phule and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar fought against the caste system and untouchability in India to establish social equality. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s continuous struggle has no break in the history of the world. To to inculcate the value of equality in the society, this Run has been organized.

Mr. Rohidas Raut, Naren Gedam, Dr. Kailsah Nagrale, Dilip Barsagde, Prof. Gautam Dange, Gautam Meshram, Devanand Fulzele, Adv. Bhawna Lakde, Raj Bansod, Baba Ghutke, Shishupal Shendre and other office bearers of the ‘Movement for Justice’ have appealed the people to participate in this Run-in large numbers.
