Gadchiroli April 22 (District correspondent) The birth anniversary of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar was celebrated at Samidha College of Civil Services here the other day.

The program was chaired by Mr. Kalidas Raut, Chairman of the Institute.  Mr. Nilesh Mohurle, in-charge principal, Prof.  Nitin Naitam Prof. Ankush Gohne, Prof. Pritam Kohpare, Madhukar Rohankar, Sushmita Madavi were present.

At the beginning of the program, the portraits of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule and Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar were garlanded by the guests. After that, many students presented their speeches, poems, songs on the biographies of these great men. These students included Ms. Sharwari Randive, Dipali Shende, Nikita Gedekar, Rohini Satpute, Isha Sonwane, Nalu Gurunule, Suhani Ramteke, China Bhoyer, Juhi Gordwar, Shivani Shende.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Mohurle told the students that they should take inspiration from the personalities of these great men and set goals and achieve them to be successful in their lives.

Prof. Gohne convinced the students of the importance of education saying without education students have no any value. Learn, be organized and struggle, be successful, study regularly, he advised.

Prof. Pritam said that the studies and work of both the great men are very great. Keep the ideal of their life in front of your eyes and get success in exams like MPSC UPSC, he told.

Mr. Kalidas Raut told the students to dream big and work tirelessly until you get success. When students feel depressed, remember these two great men. He advised that the students should go into the administration and serve the society to get rid of problems.

The program was moderated by Ms. Kumkum Bhandekar and the vote of thanks was given by China Bhoyar. A large number of students and staff attended the programme.
