Gadchiroli June 29 (District Correspondent) Mr. Mahesh Madavi, a native of Aheri and currently working as a teacher in a Zilla Parishad school under Mulchera Panchayat Samiti has been honoured by Sanvidhan Foundation Nagpur, an organization established by former IAS officer E.Z.Khobragade recently at Nagpur for his commendable academic and social services.

The individuals, organizations and media persons who work to create awareness about the Constitution and contribute to the development of constitutional culture by promoting and disseminating the Constitution in the society, are honoured every year by the Sanvidhan Foundation.

Mr. Mahesh Madavi is a very sensitive teacher. Ever since he joined the service, he has done the work of rendering education in many remote areas of Aheri, Etapalli taluka very consciously and qualitatively. He has benefited many students by appearing for Navodaya, scholarship exams by guiding them. The children he taught with such help are working today in places like Mumbai at high positions and some as doctors, engineers also.

Being himself from a very poor family, Mahesh Madavi is very close to the poor and marginalized students. He has also contributed a lot in social work. He guides students from tribal, backward class, poor families for free competitive exams at home.

He also works as a taluka level office bearer in Castribe Employees Welfare Federation, Adivasi Employees Federation, Reservation Rights Action Committee and many other social organizations.

Mr. Madavi has been working for many years under the inspiration and guidance of Mr. Gautam Meshram, who is currently working as a Block Education Officer in Mulchera. He is constantly striving to inculcate the constitutional values ​​of justice, equality, freedom, fraternity, secularism, democracy and make citizens responsible for the constitution. He also works at the social level to promote and spread the constitution values in the society.

In recognition of his work, Mr. Madavi was honoured at the hands of Mr. Sandeep Patil, DIG in a grand programme held at  Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Auditorium of Banai, Nagpur. The programme was presided over by Mr. E. Z. Khobragade IAS (retd.) .
