Gadchiroli April 11 (District Correspondent) A meeting of the officers and employees from all departments of the Gondwana University belonging to backward classes have formed Gondwana University Backward Class Employees Association to safeguard justice and constitutional rights.
On this occasion, former President and Advisor of the Maharashtra State University Backward Class Employees Association Dr. Nitin Koli, stated in his speech that unity among backward class employees based on the moral values given by the Indian Constitution is the need of the hour. The association should work for the justice, rights, and welfare of officers and employees, and assured that the Maharashtra State University Backward Class Employees Federation will always support this association.
President of the Maharashtra State University Backward Class Employees Association, Mr. Dinesh Khakde, explained the objectives and policies of the organization. He said that a strong organization is necessary at the university level to address issues such as promotions of backward class employees, proper implementation of roster systems, and other administrative problems. He added that collective unity creates positive pressure on the administration and helps in achieving justice more easily compared to individual efforts.
Vice Presidents Shrikant Tayde and Prem Mandpe, Joint Secretary Chandramani Sahare, also guided the employees.
The executive committee of the association was announced as follows- President- Dr. Vipin Raut, Working President- Mr. Dinesh Narote, Vice Presidents- Mr. Krishna Devikar, Ms. Laxmi Irpate, Ms. Ganga Rathod, Secretary- Prashant Punwatkar, Joint Secretary- Kanchankumar Dongre, Treasurer- Bhimrao Urade.

The introduction was given by Dr. Hemant Barsagade. Newly elected President Dr. Vipin Raut expressed confidence that the association will always work for the welfare of backward class employees. The program was anchored by Dr. Sandesh Sonule, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Prashant Punwatkar. A large number of officers and employees from the university were present.
