Gadchiroli July 18 (District correspondent) Senior leader of the district and Chairman of APMC Chamorshi Atul Ganyarpawar has been appointed as the district President of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) led by Mr. Sharad Pawar.

The appointment letter was handed over to Mr. Ganyarpawar by Mr. Jayant Patil, Maharashtra state President of the party in Mumbai today. Mr. Rajendra Vaidya, Observer for the district and other senior leaders of NCP were present on the occasion.

The post of the district president fell vacant as senior NCP leader Dharmarao Baba Atram joined the Ajit Pawar group along with his workers including then district chief and others.

Mr. Ganyarpawar has quite a good public contact all over the district and has been ruling the APMC for the last many years. He is one of the senior and popular leaders of the district and has made his impression in the cooperative field too.

Just a few days back, Mr. Ganyarpawar had organized a huge rally of NCP workers in the city in presence of former Minister Anil Deshmukh in which Mr. Deshmukh had declared that the new district president will be declared soon. Mr. Ganyarpawar has finally been appointed as the district President of NCP.

The supporters and well wishers of Mr. Ganyarpawar have congratulated him on this appointment.
