Gadchiroli March 2 (City Reporter) Science-Exhibition was organized at Sant Jagnade Maharaj Nagar Parishad School, Lanzeda on the occasion of ‘Science Day’ recently.
The program was inaugurated at the hands of Mr. Sanjay Bodalkar, President of the School Committee. Mr. Ravindra Kumar Patle, Head Master of the School, Ms. Megha Kotapalliwar, Sonia Jumnake, Anil Sayam, Sonal Nanavare, and Payal Naitam were prominently present.
A total of 32 model were presented by the students of class I st to VII th in this exhibition. The models were based on different themes that attracted the attention of the visitors. They included battery operated boat in water, windmill, models showing day and night, replicas showing solar system solar powered devices, C.P.R. Model, Importance of Traffic Signals, Model of Clean City, water purification process, various experiments on air pressure, organic farming, modern methods of irrigation, etc.
The speciality of this exhibition was that the experiments and replicas were prepared by the students themselves.
The school committee members, parents, citizens and students visited this exhibition in large numbers and appreciated the models. The teachers and students of the school took pains for the success of the exhibition under the guidance of Head Master Ravindra Patle.
