Gadchiroli Oct. 13 (District Correspondent) Rahul Tularam Raut, a youth from Gadchiroli has been awarded PhD. By Rashtra Sant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University.
‘Women in Higher Education: Study of Post Graduate Students of Nagpur University’ was the subject of his research which he completed under the supervision of Dr. Ashok Borkar, Associate Professor, Department of Sociology, RTMNU.
Rahul has done his graduation in Public Administration from KKK Sanskrit University, Ramtek and MA from the Department of Sociology, Nagpur University. He was also selected for the fellowship of the Nagpur University.
A resident of Gokul Nagar ward of Gadchiroli, Rahul is also very fond of music and singing also besides literature. A song composed by him has already appeared in a Marathi movie and has become quite popular too. He plays the musical instruments like tabla, harmonium, flute very well and sings also beautifully. He is a good poet also and has composed many meaningful poems. He has also authored couple of books.
Presently, Rahul has been working as a Lecturer in Nagpur University on CHB basis and wants to continue academic profession further. He was accorded welcome by his teachers and colleagues in the Nagpur University soon after knowing about his PhD.
Originally from a small village of Mahawada in Dhanora taluka, Rahul’s father Tularam and mother Sumitra are actively involved in socio-religious work for the last several years. Rahul accredits this success to his parents and teachers. The relatives, friends and well wishers have congratulated Rahul on his success and have extended hm best wishes for his further career.
