Mumbai Feb. 17 (Our Correspondent) Mr. Nagsen Ambadas Wankhede has taken over as the Chief General Manager (IT) of the state government owned company MahaTransco recently. He is the youngest officer to have assumed this important post.

Mr. Wankhede has the outstanding career and vast work experience in the IT field. Before joining this assignment, he was working with TCS, a reputed corporate. He was working with the Govt. of India enterprise EESL and other renowned multinational companies IBM, L&T Infotech etc.

He has overall experience of 18 years in IT management, software development, consulting, SAP enterprise architect and is expert in designing and implementing integration, automation for IT operations, cyber security, cloud solutions and delivering digital transformations that enhance business.

Mr. Wankhede has also more than 5 years’ experience of working in foreign countries like UK, Germany, US, Canada and South Africa.

Mr. Wankhede has done his engineering in Information Technology from the Govt. Engineering College, Aurangabad. He has also completed his dual Masters in Artificial Intelligence Engineering and Data Science. He has acquired various professional certifications in SAP, Design Thinking, Digital transformations, Networks, Security and Project Management from different reputed institutes.

Mr. Wankhede has bagged the most prestigious Next 100 (Next Generation Leaders of India) award and various awards for his outstanding performance during his around two decades career. He has volunteered as Research Collaborator for VNIT Nagpur and contributor for Climate Science UK.
