Gadchiroli March 4 (District Correspondent) Gondwana Sainiki Vidyalaya here has topped the Nagpur division in ‘My School Beautiful School’ initiative. The said activity was started from January and 90 percent of the schools from Gadchiroli district had participated in it. In it, the school scored on various points and the Vidyalaya won the first rank at all levels and topped the division and reached the state level.
The state evaluation committee had recently visited the Vidyalaya. Education Director Sharad Gosavi, Education Officers Sontakke and Phule were mainly present in it. The evaluation committee conducted a special examination. It included cleaning of the school and its premises, decorating and colouring classrooms, declaring a tobacco free school, providing students with bananas and eggs in their supplementary meals, organizing painting and sports competitions, providing water to trees planted in the school etc.
Various social activities are also taken up in the school. Festivals and birth anniversaries of various great leaders are celebrated. Cultural programs are organized. Adult education program is going on, public awareness has been created to eliminate superstitions. The evaluation was done by considering the aspects of the educational quality of the students with all the criteria.
