Gadchiroli March 10 (District Correspondent) Gadchiroli District Central cooperative Bank (GDCCB) has received the prestigious ‘Banco blue Ribbon award for its outstanding performance.
The bank has received this award for the seventh consecutive time. The award has been given in deposits growth category for the year 2022 by Banco, Pune. The GDCCB has been selected for the award from amongst the 270 district central cooperative banks in the country.
The award was presented at the hands of National Federation of Urban cooperative Bank chairman Jyotindrabhai Mehta recently in a programme held at Mahabaleshwar.
The award was received by Mr. Anant Salwe, Honarary Secretary, director Dr. Durwesh Bhoyar and Chief Officer Satish Ayalwar on behalf of the bank.
The GDCCB has crossed a turn over of Rs. 3,000 crores by the end of 2022 and is marching ahead towards the business of Rs. 4,000 crores.
The gross npa of the bank is 1.05 as per the position of March 2022 and net npa is 0 percent. The bank has provided many modern banking facilities to its customers which include UPI, IMPS, QR code, mobile banking etc.
The bank could achieve this success due to the support and cooperation of the depositors, farmers, govern,ment officials, self help gropus etc, said Mr. Prancheet Poreddiwar, chairman of the bank while reacting over the award.
Mr. Poreddiwar and other office bearers and officers of the bank have thanked the people for their cooperation in the success journey of the bank.
