Youth Congress workers taking out torch march

Gadchiroli March 29 (District Correspondent) The workers of Youth Congress took out a huge ‘Mashal Morcha in the city to protest against disqualification of the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and to demand JPC inquiry into Adani Group scam.

The march started from Indira Gandhi Square of the city and moved through the main streets of the city shouting slogans in support of Rahul Gandhi.

The BJP and Modi government is baffled at Rahul Gandhi’s growing popularity, especially after the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ and his continuous raising of voice in Parliament regarding the inquiry into the Adani Group scam exposed by the Hindenburg Institute. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP government is trying to suppress his voice by the misuse of power, alleged Mr. Vishwajeet Kowase, Secretary of Maharashtra Pradesh Youth Congress.

To support Rahul Gandhi and protest against Narendra Modi led BJP government and for the main demand of joint parliamentary committee inquiry into Adani Group scam, a grand torch march was taken out under the leadership of Vishwajit Kowase, Congress and District General Secretary Nitesh Rathod.

The Youth Congress workers will intensify the agitation if disqualification of Rahul Gandhi from the membership of Lok Sabha is not revoked immediately, warned Mr. Kowase while addressing the youths. The BJP ruled central government is destroying democracy for vendetta of the opposition leaders, he alleged.
