Gadchiroli Feb. 19 (District Correspondent) Chhatrapati Shivswarajya Seva Sanshta Ashti had recently organised Vidarbha level group dance competition at Shivaji Chowk Ashti to mark Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti.

Raje Ambrishrao Maharaj former Minister of State for Tribal Development and Forest and the Guardian Minister of Gadchiroli district inaugurated the competition. Mr. Vyankati  Burle, social worker was the chairperson of the programme. Ms. Bebitai Burande sarpanch of gram panchayat Ashti, Kumar Awdhesh Rao Baba, Yuva leader Aheri, Vanashritai Chapale Sarpanch gram panchayat Markanda Kansoba, Nandatai Kulsange sarpanch gram panchayat Thakari, Kundan Gawade Police Inspector Ashti, Ms. Rupalitai Pandilwar ex. ZP member, Sanjay Pandilwar social activist, Deepak Roy Headmaster RD High School Mulchera, Sudhir Farkade, journalist, Sunanda Galbale, Sai Anna Tulsigiri,  Daulat Ramteke were the chief guests.

In his inaugural speech Raje Ambrishrao advised to all the youths to adopt the qualityies of Raje Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj which he had implemented in his Swarajya 350 years ago. Raje Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was a versatile personality and his ideal is always inspiring, he stated.

Total 16 dance groups participated in the competition. The first prize of Rs. 30,000 which was sponsored by Raje Ambrishrao Maharaj was bagged by D. Virus Gang Dance Club Chamorshi, The Second prize was won by Bhavani dance group Talodhi -Balapur, the Third prize was won by Akash dance group Chandrapur, the Fourth prize went to Little Heart English Medium school Ashti and Fifth prize was won by J D Dance Group Saoli.

Pavan Ramgirkar President, Sandeep Lodelliwar vice president, Sandeep Tiwade Secretary, Devabhau Borkute co-secretary, Praful Chatur Treasurer, Akshay Hanmalwar Orgniser, Kapil Masram Manager and all members of Shri Chatrapati Shivswarajya Seva Sanshta Ashti worked hard for the success the programme that was attended by a large number pf dance lovers and youths.
