Gadchiroli Jan. 16 (District Correspondent) The tribal youths from the district presented cultural programme at the global platform at Pune recently and presented the tribal culture.
A cultural meet was organized at Annabhau Sathe Kala Bhawan Pune recently by Youth Foundation Pune. This foundation has been working on entrepreneurship, women empowerment, arts and skills, education for the past 25 years.
Global entrepreneur and culture preservation program was organized by this foundation recently at Pune. In this programme, tribal youths from different countries like Malaysia, Australia, Japan and the states of Orissa, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra had participated along with their cultural groups to showcase their culture and tradition.
The tribal youths from Gadchiroli district also participated in the programme under the leadership of Miss India award winner Manisha Madavi and presented a beautiful dance that was appreciated by one and all. Sajja Madavi, Ms. Jayashree Kargami, Rajkumar Uike, Piyush Karangami, Janhvi Uike, Monika Narote, Jagdish Madavi, Anup Majhi were the members of this group. Who represented India.
Tribals are nature worshipers and protectors of water, forest and land. Adivasi culture has been preserving natural resources and following the laws of nature for the last so many years. The team of Gadchiroli district won the hearts of all and engraved its name on the world stage through this programme.
