Training of poultry, goat rearing given to rural youths by police department.

Gadchiroli May 20 (District correspondent) As many as 35 persons were given the training of goat rearing and 20 persons the training of poultry by the police department under its ‘Dadalora Khidki’ programme recently.

All the trainees were accorded farewell recently at the office of BOIRSETI on completion of their training.

The youths from Gadchiroli, Bhamragad, Jimalgatta, Hedri, Pendhri and Dhanora sub divisions participated in the 10-day long goat rearing training in which they were imparted training by the experts in the field. The training of varieties of goats, fodder management, vaccination etc. The trainees were appealed to start their business to earn the income.

Similarly, 20 youths from the same areas were given the training of poultry business. All the trainees were given certificates on the occasion.

The police department has given different types of skill development training to the total of 5156 residents of remote tribal areas so far under Dadalora Khidki programme. As many as 174 youths were given the training of beauty parlour, 87 fisheries, 565 poultry, 100 duck keeping, 10 pig keeping, 142 goat rearing, 277 tailoring, 53 bees keeping, 65 photography, 1395 vegetable growing, 1062 pre police recruitment, 134 two-wheelers repairing, 127 fast food making, 592 four wheeler driving, 231 MSCIT, 48 karate and 35 soft toys making training.

The farewell programme was held in presence of Dhananjay Patil, In charge of Training, Mr. Kailas Bolgamwar, Pundalik Katkar, Bhushan Meshram, Rajendra Wanjari, Ms. Harshali Naitam, Hemant Meshram, Purushottam Kunghadkar and others under the guidance of SP Nilotpal.
