Gadchiroli May 20 (District Correspondent) ‘International Museum Day’ was celebrated by Nawab Mir Yusuf Ali Museum, Porla Estate at aits Nawargaon museum the other day.
A drawing competition was organized to mark the occasion by Ms. Manjusha Yogendra Modak, Director of the museum, in which several children from the Zilla Parishad School of village Nawargaon participated and drew beautiful and colourful drawings.
Himanshu Undirwade bagged the first prize of this competition. Kashmir Bhaisare won the second prize and Sonpari Undirwade got the third prize. The prizes were given at the hands of Ms. Manjusha Modak. All the participants were also given certificates.
The children were given information about the museums and their importance during the programme. The museum was also shown to them on the occasion.
Ms. Vijubai Atram, Shridevi Bhoyar, Chetan Chafle, Mona bhoyar, Bablu Ambade, Vijay Undirwade and others took pains for the success of the programme.
