Gadchiroli November 27 (District Correspondent) A ‘Sanvidhan Sanman Bike Rally’ and ‘Sanvidhan Din’ program that was organized in the city by Sanvidhan Foundation and Movement for Justice evoked tremendous response.

The rally was flagged off by District Health Officer Dr. Dawal Salwe and Gadchiroli Tehsildar Mahendra Ganwir at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Square on Chandrapur Road in the morning. The representatives of various social and political organizations and the cross section of society participated spontaneously in the bike rally. The entire city was resounding with the chanting of the slogans hailing the constitution. A vehicle (Chitrarath) decorated with the preamble of the constitution, portrait of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and the major provisions in the constitution was a special attraction of the rally in which two wheelers and four wheelers with the national flags also participated.

The rally started by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Chouk and moved through various parts of the city including Sonapur Complex, Kargil Chowk, Gokul Nagar, Savidhan Chowk, Lanzeda, Baburao Madavi Chouk, Indira Gandhi Chowk etc. The Preamble of the Constitution was read and the portraits of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and Preamble were garlanded in every square. The rally finally concluded in a public meeting at Zilla Parishad High School Hall.

Senior journalist Rohidas Raut presided over the program while Prof. Dr. Dilip Chowdhari, Senate member of Gondwana University was the key speaker. Mr. Dadaji Chaple of Maratha Seva Sangh, Ms. Kusumtai Alam senior poetess, Bhai Ramdas Jarate of PWP, Devrao Chawale of CPI, Vilas Nimborkar of ANIS, Dr. Kailas Nagarle, BARTI coordinator Manish Ganaveer, Dr. Dilip Barsagade, Sudha Chaudhary of Mali Samaj Sangathan were prominently present as the chief guests.

Mr. Gautam Meshram, Coordinator of Sanvidhan Foundation made an introductory speech, Raj Bansod, Coordinator of Moment for Justice conducted the programme and Vinod Madavi of Adivasi Vikas Yuva Parishad proposed the vote of thanks.
