Gadchiroli Oct. 22 (District Correspondent) Prof. Gautam Dange, a retired Junior Lecturer and social worker has been honoured with ‘Retired Teacher Gungaurav’ award.

The award has been presented by Political Science Junior college Council of Maharashtra recently to Prof. Dange for his commendable services as a teacher. Prof. Sumit Pawar, founder President, Prof. Sanjay Sutar, Working President and Prof. Suresh Narayane, Vice President of the Council have communicated the award.

The award is presented to the meritorious retired teachers for their outstanding services and performance every year by the Council. Prof. Dange was selected for this year’s award.

Prof. Gautam Dange retired as a junior Lecturer from Zilla Parishad Jr. college, Dhanora. During his service he took up various innovative ventures for the students and the teaching field and had created his own impression in the academic field of the district.

Prof. Dange has been working as the General Secretary of the Bhartiya Bouddha Mahasabha for the last many years and working to propagate the teachings of Lord Buddha among the people. He is also a good writer and keeps writing for various journals and magazines.

The friends and well wishers of Prof. Dange have congratulated him on this award.
