Gadchiroli Feb. 21 (District Correspondent) ‘Nirbhay Bano’ public meeting has been organized at Gadchiroli on Feb. 23 next. Well known thinker Dr. Vishwambhar Chaudhari and Adv. Asim Sarode, constitutional expert and law analyst will address this meeting at 6 pm at Indira Gandhi Chouk of the city.
This was informed by Mr. Vinod Madavi, Chief Convenor of the Nirbhay Bano Andolan in a press conference here this afternoon.
Democracy and constitution has come under threat under the present regime. An atmosphere of fear has spread among the people. Government machineries are being largely misused and there is a large- scale discontent in the society. On this background, this public meeting has been organized, told Mr. Madavi.
The youth activists of the Nirbhay Bano Andolan have been campaigning for this public meeting which is evoking tremendous response from the people and large number of people from different parts of the district are likely to attend it as the comman people are quite anxious about this meeting, told Mr. Madavi further.
Also present at the press conference were Mr. Raj Bansod of BRSP, Hansraj Undirwade of Republican Party, Kunal Kowe of Adiwasi Vikas Yuwa Parishad, Rahul Bhandekar, Pratik Dange, Ms. Malta Pudo, Amol Kulmethe, Hasina Kando, Satish Durgamwar, Vidya Dugga and others.
