Munghate College’s students get prizes in Students Innovation Programme.

Gadchiroli Feb. 9 (District correspondent) Mohit Vikram Badole and Uma Krishna Sahare, students of Shri Govindrao Munghate Arts and Science College, Kurkheda, run by Dandakaranya Educational and Cultural Development Research Institute Gadchiroli have received the prizes in the district level competition of Maharashtra Student Innovation Challenge programme  of Maharashtra State Innovation Society, Skill, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Department of the Government of Maharashtra in

Both the students were honored by the District Collector Sanjay Meena with a check of one lakh rupees each, a certificate and a badge of honour recently.

Innovation and creativity have no geographical boundaries. They can succeed anywhere. Innovations need proper support but good ideas cannot materialize without proper platform and guidance.

The Maharashtra Student Innovation Challenge was organized by the Ministry of Skill, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Department of Maharashtra State to embody the innovations of college students in the state. The district level presentation stage of the initiative was completed and the names of Mohit Badole and Uma Sahare were announced. Both the students received Rs.1 lakh each, a certificate and a shield.

Innovation Cell has been running in Munghate College for the past some years and through these various workshops were organized for the students to set up new industries. The students have benefited from this guidance to set up their own small-scale industries.

The students selected for the said activity had submitted their project to the government. Selection of students from remote areas like Kurkheda for the said project is a matter of great honor and pride not only for the college but for the entire district.

Dr.  Rajabhau Munghate, Principal of the college, Dr. Abhay Salunkhe, Incharge of IIC, Dr. Sanjay Mahajan, Head of Employment Guidance Centre, all faculty, non-teaching staff have congratulated the students on their success.
