Gadchiroli Sept. 30 (District Correspondent) Noted social worker from Chandrapur Mohan hirabai hiralal has been selected for Gondwana University’s ‘Jeevan Sadhna Gaurao’ award 2021-22 for his outstanding services to the society and the award will be presented on Oct. 2 next at the University auditorium here.
This was told by Dr. Prashant Bokare, vice chancellor of the University in a press conference here this afternoon.
The 11 th anniversary of the University has been organized on 2 nd October and various other programmes have also been organized to mark the occasion.
The Examination Bhavan will be dedicated to public, various other awards will be distributed as well as Guest House, Cultural Hall and Incubation Centre will be inaugurated on the occasion, told Dr. Bokare further.
The programme will be inaugurated at the hands of Mr. Chandrakant Dada Patil, Higher and Technical Education Minister while Mr. Sudhir Mungantiwar, Minister for forest and Cultural Affairs, Vijaykumar Gawit, Minister for Tribal Development will be the chief guests. Dr. Prashant Bokare will chair the programme, it was told.
Dnyanesh Mahavidyalaya, Nawargaon will be honoured as the best college, Dr. Amir Dhammani, Principal of Gramgeeta Mahavidyalaya, Chimur will be awarded as the best Principal, Dr. Shriram Gahane from Adarsha College, Wadsa and Dr. Aparna Dhote from Nilkanthrao shinde college, Bhadrawati will be honoured as the best teachers. Ms. Manisha Fulkar and Anil Chavan, Pramod Nagpure will be honoured as the best University employees.
Vishal shende from Dr. Ambedkar college, Chandrapur and Priyanka Dighore from N. H. College, Bramhapuri will be given the best students awards in this programme, declared Dr. Bokare.
Also present at the press conference were Dr. Shriram Kawle, Pro VC, Dr. Anil Hirekhan, Registrar, Dr. Anil Chitade, Director of Examination Department, Dr. Raju Weginwar, Dean of Science and Technology department, Saket Dashputra, Finance and Accounts Officer were present at the press conference.
