Gondwana Sainiki students win rifle shooting contest.

Gadchiroli Aug. 24 (District Correspondent) A rifle shooting competition was organized for boys and girls in the age group of 14, 17 and 19 years in the local Gondwana Sainiki Vidyalaya recently in association with Directorate of Sports and Youth Services Maharashtra State Pune, District Sports Officer Office and Zilla Parishad Gadchiroli.

In this competition, the cadets of Gondwana Sainiki Vidyalaya achieved success in the district level rifle shooting competition by shooting accurately. Cadet Master Harsh Mahesh Uke won the first place in the below 19 years age group, while Nakul Prabhakarji Dubey got the second place and Ekank Ravindraji Shahare got the third place. Cadet Master Prithvi Prabhakarji Medalwar stood first, Shivaji Raja Kadarlawar stood second and Abhishek Anil Wasekar stood third in the age group below 17 years.

The competition was organized in the indoor rifle shooting room of Gondwana Sainiki School in presence of State Sports Guide S. B. Bandkelwar, Gondwana School Principal Sanjeev Gosavi, Vice Principal Omprakash Sangrame, Superintendent Ajay Wankhede, Military Director Rishi Vanjari, Principal Sports Teacher Bhupendra Chaudhary.

A total of 11 shooters participated in the competition. Principal of Gondwana School Sanjiv Gosavi and staff members have congratulated all the winning shooters and wished them good luck for the divisional competition.
