Nagpur March 30 (Special correspondent) Mr. Devnath Gandate, well known journalist and web designer has been appointed as Nagpur District President of Digital Department of the ‘Voice of Media’ recently.
‘Voice of Media’ is recognized as an organization that fights for the rights of journalists at the national level. The appointment has been made by Sandeep Kale, National President of the organization and Jaipal Gaikwad, State President of Digital Media Department and Nagpur District President, Anand Ambekar.
Mr. Gandate has been working in journalism since 2002 and has experience in journalism in various districts of Chandrapur, Nagpur, Alibag and Vidarbha. He worked as a journalist for 14 years in Vidarbha edition of Dainik Sakal. He also has work experience as senior sub-editor in Krishiwal, Nagpur.
He is a member of digital media publisher and news portal Grievances Council of India, recognized by the Central Government’s Department of Information and Broadcasting. Notably, his book “Digital Media Opportunities and Challenges” was recently published. Along with journalism, he also works in web design, social media, digital marketing, blogging etc.
