Gadchiroli – The birth anniversary of late Barrister Rajabhau Khobragade, the leader of Republican movement and former Dy. Chairman of Rajya Sabha, was celebrated by the district unit of All India Republican Party here the other day.
In the morning, the portrait of Bar. Khobragade was garlanded and rich tributes were paid by the party workers at Indira Chowk of the city. Also, a meeting was also held in the district office of the party at Chandekar Bhavan.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Raut said Barrister Khobragade was a great leader who carried forward the Republican movement of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar throughout the country and always struggled for the poor and dalit people. His work and sacrifice is inspirational for the present generation. To strengthen the Republican movement will be a real homage to this leader.
The program presided over by All India Republican Party Central Vice President Rohidas Raut. State Vice President Principal Prakash Dudhe, State Secretary Principal Rajan Borkar, Mahila Aghadi State Vice President Surekhatai Barsagade, District General Secretary Hansraj Undirwade.
