Gadchiroli Sept. 7 (City Reporter) Ms. Avantika Karhade, daughter of Suman and Dr. Yogiraj Karhade, has been selected for post-graduate (M. Sc.) course in the world-famous London School of Economics, UK. She will be doing her Masters in the subject of Local Economic Development.
Avantika’s name has also figured in the list of selected students for foreign scholarship announced by Maharashtra government. This scholarship is awarded to the meritorious students for their higher studies abroad. Name Avantika’s father Dr. Yogiraj Karhade is Livestock Development Officer and mother is a housewife while her sister has done MSc (Agri.).
Avantika took her primary education from Zilha Parishad School Karwafa and Etapalli and secondary education from the Navodaya Vidyalaya Ghot with merit and distinction. She did her B A from Modern College of Arts, commerce & science, Pune.
Ms. Avantika is slated to proceed for her foreign education shortly. Many of her well-wishers, relatives and friends have congratulated on this spectacular success and have extended their best wishes for the further career.
