Cooperative movement has a great strength-Sudhakar Adbale

Gadchiroli March 1 (District correspondent) If I am standing before you today as an MLA, it is because of the cooperative movement. This is the strength of co-operative sector. Fifteen years ago, I established Teachers and Non-Teaching Staff Credit Society in Chandrapur with the aim of meeting the financial problems faced by them.  All these employees were my voters in this election and as a result of that I am the MLA today.

This was stated by newly elected teachers MLA Sudhakar Adbale while speaking at the concluding ceremony of Cooperative Training Workshop organized by Cooperative Department and Sahkar Bharti here recently.

District Credit Union President Dilip Patil presided over the event while Vijay Patil, Officer of Cooperative Department, Honorary Secretary of the Union Prof. Sesharao Yelekar, Vice President of The Gadchiroli Urban Cooperative Credit Union Sumatitai Munghate, Honorary Secretary Sulochanatai Waghre, District Vice President of National OBC Federation Pandurang Ghotekar were present on the dais.

On this occasion Mr. Adbale was by the District Credit Union and National OBC Federation.

Mr.  Adbale further said, “My victory is historic and no teacher MLA has been elected with such a large number of votes in the past 75 years. Gadchiroli and Chandrapur district got representation for the first time due to my candidature, he said and assured that I will use this opportunity to solve problems in the field of cooperatives and education.

In memory of Principal Khushalrao Waghre, the best credit institutions in the district were honored with District Cooperation Award 2022 by dignitaries.

In this two-day workshop Mr. Hemant Umate of Nashik guided on the usability of digital banking, Retired Chief Manager of the DCC Bank Arun Nimbekar spoke on district on the investment management and balance sheet analysis of funds.  Nagpur co-operative expert Adv. Prashant Shirke and Vijay Patil guided on various other topics and gave information in the cooperative department.

Introduction of the program was made by Prof. Seshrao Yelekar. Bhaskar Nagpure, conducted the programme and Dilip Khewale, proposed the vote of thanks. Senior members P. T. Pudke, Kishore Madavi, Gajanan Chavke, Bhaskar Khoye, Krishna Arjunkar, Manoj Bairagi, Dattatray Kharwade, Sunil Sherki, Lingaji Morande, Rajendra Urkude, Chandrakant Shivankar and more than 150 representatives of various credit societies of the district were present.
