18 Gadchiroli Police officials get Gallantry Medals.

Gadchiroli Jan. 25 (District Correspondent) Gadchiroli Police have received as many as 18 Gallantry Medals this year for its commendable performance. With this the Gadchiroli Police have continued their tradition of getting the Gallantry Medals which are considered to be prestigious in the police service.

The Union Ministry of home Affairs has announced this on the eve of the Republic Day. Gallantry Medals are awarded to the police officers and jawans every year on the Republic Day for their outstanding performance. Gadchiroli Police have received such medals earlier also.

The police officers who have been declared this year’s Gallantry Medals are Mr. Somay Munde, Additional SP, Sanket Gosawi, SDPO, Kamlesh Naitam, Shankar Bachalwar, Munshi Madavi, Devendra Atram, Sanjay Wachami, Vinod Madavi, Gurudeo Dhurve, Durgesh Meshram, Madhav Madavi, Jivan Narote, all Nayak Police constables, Suraj Chudhri, Mohan Usendi, Head Constable, Hiraji Neware, Jyotiram Weladi, Vijay Wadetwar, Kalidas Gedam, all Police Constables.

The Gadchiroli Police have been serving in the most remote and sensitive areas besides the odd living conditions and geographical situation. In recognition of their services the Government of India has awarded them with the Gallantry Medals.

Superintendent of Police Mr. Nilotpal, Additional SP Kumar Chinta, Yatish Deshmukh, M. Kumar have congratulated all the medal winners and has extended them best wishes for the further carrier.
