Walk for Sanvidhan Rally gets tremendous response- Public meeting also held.

Gadchiroli Nov. 26 (District Correspondent) Walk for Sanvidhan Rally and Sanvidhan Din programme organized by the district unit of Sanvidhan Foundation and other social organizations evoked tremendous response.

The rally was flagged off at the hands of Mr. Dhanaji Patil, Additional Collector, Dr. Kishor Mankar, Conservator of Forest, Farendra Kuttirkar, Additional CEO, Zilla Parishad and Rohoidas Raut, journalist.

The rally started from the ZP high school and moved through the main streets of the city giving slogans of the constitution. The huge procession with school band and a scene of the presentation of the Constitution by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar to the first President and Prime Minister of India was the special feature of this rally that attracted the attention of the citizens.

The students and teachers from various schools, colleges and hostels, women and citizens as well as workers of different social organizations actively participated in the rally. The rally was finally culminated into a meeting at the auditorium of ZP high School.

The meeting was presided over by Mr. Rohidas Raut, senior journalist. Mr. Vijay Wadettiwar, former Minister, Dr. Namdeo Usendi, ex MLA, Dr. Kishor Mankar, Conservator of Forest, Dr. Anil Hirekhan, Registrar of Gondwana University, Dr. Dilip Barsagade, President of SPARSH, Dadaji chafle of Maratha Sewa Sangha, Hasanbhai Gilani were prominently present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Wadettiwar said the Constitution of India has helped the citizens of the country to emerge as the strong citizens irrespective of their caste or religion and eliminated the poison of inequality. The Constitution has empowered the people and have guaranteed their rights. It is because of the constitution that India has remained a democratic country all these years. This Constitutions needs to be reached to the masses to make the country stronger and prosperous, he stated.

Dr. Mankar said the Constitution has enriched the values of equality, fraternity and justice. It has given opportunity to every individual to rise and progress. Our country has progressed because of the Constitution. All the citizens must follow this Constitution, he appealed.

In his presidential speech Mr. Rohidas Raut said the ability of the comman man for raising his raising voice is the real strength of the Constitution. It is because of the constitutional provisions that the scores of deprived and neglected people could stand on their own feet and revolt against injustice. Every Indian should be proud of this Constitution and lead their lives as per the directives of this national document.

The other guests also expressed their views on the occasion and underlined the importance of the Constitution. Also seated on the dais were Vilas Nimborkar, Ms. Surekhatai Barsagade, Sadanand Taram, Prof. Gautam Danmge, Hansraj Undirwade, Pandurang Ghotekar, Dewanand Fulzele and others.

Mr. Gautam Meshram, district Convenor of the Sanvidhan Foundation made an introductory speech and gave the details of the programme. Mr. tularam Raut conducted the programme and Raj Bansod proposed the vote of thanks. A large number of people attended the programme
