Gadchiroli Sept. 16 (District Correspondent) Vidarbha Kunbi Parishad (VKP) accorded warm felicitation to Mr. Arvind Bali, a retired teacher of Shivaji High School and Mr. Pramod Dhore who received the President’s Award for his excellent performance in the police department recently in a programme that was held in the office of VKP.
VKP President Prof. Mukesh Urkude presided over the program and retired PSI Purushottam Thackeray was present as the guest.
Mr. Arvind Bali expressed the opinion that he served for 34 years by remaining loyal to the school and considering the students as gods. This service gave me satisfaction and happiness, he added.
Mr. Pramod Dhore opined that I got the President’s Award only because of my honest and good service in the police department. This award encouraged me all the while and I worked with more enthusiasm, he told.
Appreciating the services of both the dignitaries, Prof. Urkude said in his presidential speech that it is really commendable that they have reached the highest stage of honour by way of these awards. Their work will become a guiding principle for all the others, he hoped.
Newly appointed members of VKP Gopal Munghate, Purushottam Thackeray also spoke on the occasion. Dr. Avinash Gaurkar made an introductory speech. The program was moderated by Kishore Pachbhai and Shemdev Chafle proposed the vote of thanks.
Prof. Rajesh Hivarkar, P P Mhaske, Bhaskar Mhaske, Hemraj Urkude, Sunil Deshmukh, Yogesh Gongal and others cooperated to make the program successful.
