Gadchiroli Sept. 30 (City Reporter) A delegation of the All-India Republican Party’s women front has demanded in-depth enquiry into the deaths of mothers and new born children taking place in the district women and children’s hospital of Gadchiroli and stern action against those responsible for these deaths.
A delegation of the workers met the civil surgeon of the hospital Dr. Madhuri Kilnake and submitted her a memorandum in this regard.
There has been growing deaths of the pregnant women, mothers and new born children in the women and children’s hospital for the past few days. Because of this an atmosphere of fear and worry has prevailed among the women and their relatives. These growing deaths are needed to be stopped urgently and necessary measures should be taken by the hospital administration for this, it was demanded.
There are also various complaints about the mis management, lack of hygine and other facilities in the hospital which has also become a matter of concern for the people of the district, said the memorandum.
The situation in the hospital should be enquired at high level and it should be ensured that no such deaths take place in the future. Action should be taken against those responsible for the deaths, it was also demanded.
Regional vice President of the Republican Party Prin. Prakash Dudhe, district President Hansrj Undirwade, Regional Secretary Keshaorao Samrutwar, Women district President Neeta Sahare, women General Secretary Jyoti Undirwade, District General Secretary Pralhad Raypure, Office Secretary Ashok Khobragade, Youth district president Narendra Raypure, Dadaji Dhakde, Women’s city president Wanmala Zade, Kavita Vaidya and other workers were present in the delegation.
