Gadchiroli Sept. 3 (District Correspondent) Various social activities like blood donation, food donation, competitive examination books distribution, fruit distribution were organized by District Congress Committee and various departments of the party to mark the birthday of Gadchiroli District Congress Committee President Mahendra Brahmanwade the other day.
A grand blood donation and health check-up camp that was organized at the District General hospital, was inaugurated by former MP of Gadchiroli Chimur Lok Sabha Marotrao Kawase. On this occasion Mr. Mahendra Brahmanwade, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress General Secretary Dr. Namdev Kirsan, State Secretary Pankaj Guddewar, ZP Former Vice President Manohar Patil Poretti, Jeevan Patil Naat, City President Satish Vidhate, Congress Leader Adv. Govindrao Bhendarkar, Hasan Ali Gilani, Shankarao Salotkar, Rajesh Katratwar, Samsherkhan Pathan, Rajnikant Motghare, Damdev Mandalwar, Abdul Bhai Panjwani, Wamanrao Savasakde were prominently present.
As many as 40 blood donors donated their blood in the camp. Among them are Sameer Tajne, Vasant Raut, Vipul Yelettiwar, Kunal Tajne, Ajay Parchake, Pradeep Jetty, Mayur Murande, Sachin Borkute, Praful Thanakate, Vaibhav Banbale, Divartan Sahare, Narendra Bambole, Namdev Bhoyer, Teju Gedekar, Suresh Gakwad, Sachin Borkute, Mayur Murande, Deepak Chaudhary, Adarsh Meshram and others.
At Armori and Aheri government hospitals fruits were distributed to the patients while in District Women and Child Hospital food was served to the patients and their relatives. Books of competitive exams were distributed to hundreds of students at Nawegaon, Kurud and Armori study centers by the congress workers.
Also present on the occasion were Sunil Dogra, Deepak Madke, Shiv Sena Liaison Chief Arvind Katratwar.
