Gadchiroli Oct. 21 (District Correspondent) There is great potential in the youth of Gadchiroli district. If skills are added to that ability, the youth of this district will make a name for themselves in many fields, said MP Ashok Nete, MP while inaugurating the 12 skill development centres started by the central government for the unemployed youths at Wairagarh village in Armori taluka the other day.  The centre will be a milestone and will pave the way for employment and self-employment of the youths, he added.

Pramod Mahajan Rural Skill Development Centres have been established by the Department of Skills, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation to provide skill training to the youth and make them employable. Under this, 12 centers in Gadchiroli district were inaugurated online by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday. They include Visora, Asarali, Geda, Murumgaon, Porla, Ashti, Kadholi, Vairagarh, Sundarnagar, Kotgul, Arewada and Allapalli.

MP Ashok Nete attended the program at Wairagad Centre and guided the unemployed youth and citizens.

On this occasion Assistant Commissioner of District Skill Development Centre Yogendra Shende, Tehsildar Mane, District General Secretary of BJP Sadanand Kuthe, Omkar Madavi, Sarpanch of Wairagad and villagers were present in large numbers.

District Collector Sanjay Meena, Chief Executive Officer Ayushi Singh, Tehsildar Mahendra Ganwir and other officials attended the program at village Porla in Gadchiroli taluka. A large number of youths and villagers attended the programme.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Meena said the centre will be quite useful for the district youths in getting skill training and employment opportunities. CEO Singh also addressed the youths and appealed them to avail the benefit of the scheme.
