Gadchiroli Oct. 11 (District Correspondent) In order to strengthen the Congress party in view of the upcoming elections, a district level review meeting was held at the PWD guest house here recently under the directives of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress President Nanabhau Patole.
Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary Vinod Dattatraya presided over the meeting while District Congress Committee President Mahendra Bramhanwade, former MLA Dr. Namdev Usendi, Former MLA Anandrao Gedam, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress General Secretary Dr. Namdev Kirsan, Regional Secretary Dr. Nitin Kodawate, former ZP Vice President Manohar Poreti, Youth Congress State Secretary Vishwajit Kowase were prominently present.
In this meeting, strengthening of the party organization and various activities and campaigns of the Congress Committee implemented so far were discussed in detail. Mr. Dattatraya took a detailed review of the party organization in the district and addressed the workers calling upon them to work more for strengthening the party and getting ready for the coming elections with full might.
On the background of the recent establishment in the state and the centre, people have great expectations from the grand old Congress Party and workers should be ready to fulfil these expectations, he said.
