Gadchiroli Oct. 11 (District correspondent) Department of Geology of Shree Govindrao Munghate College of Arts and Sciences, Kurkheda, run by Dandakaranya Educational and Cultural Development Research Institute, Gadchiroli has signed a memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Directorate of Geosciences and Mines, Ground Water Survey, Development Mechanism and Mining Corporation of Maharashtra Government and Sassi Tech. Limited, Nagpur recently under the guidance of Principal Dr. Rajabhau Munghate.
Due to this MoU, various demonstrations, trainings, collaborative research activities, exchange of educational materials, skill-based curriculum training, employment-oriented courses, educational cooperation, project work, cooperative field visits and training, cooperative workshops, seminars on related subjects, will be organized. Apart from job placement for the students, various conferences, seminars and workshops will be organized for the farmers of the adopted village under the college’s Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, it was informed on the occasion.
Many alumni of the college, other students of the area will benefit from this MoU and various employment opportunities will also be available. It will also help to build many industries based on skill. Farmers of the adopted village Nani, Jambhulkheda, Dhamdi Tola, Castor and Andhali, Navargaon and others under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan of the college will benefit from this.
