Ramdas Athwale praises Gadchiroli District’s development.

Gadchiroli Oct. 17 (District Correspondent) Gadchiroli district is included among the 112 aspirational districts of the country and the administration is carrying out development work for the needy people by implementing innovative schemes in Gadchiroli asserted Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Athawale.

Mr. Athawale is on a tour of aspirational districts in different states and started this tour from Gadchiroli. He addressed the govt. officials meeting at the collectorate.

Gadchiroli is a tribal dominated and axal infested district. While doing development works, disruption occurs. Facing these challenges, the project of empowerment of Disha, Phulora and Gram Sabha is being implemented to provide facilities in remote areas mainly in health and education, Athawale mentioned and appealed the officials to carry on the developmental works.

He also asked those present in the meeting to implement the various schemes of the central government well to the last people. The Minister reviewed the aspirational district program of the district administration and also visited the centrally funded de-addiction centre. He also interacted with journalists. MP of Gadchiroli Chimur Lok Sabha Constituency Ashok Nete and Collector Sanjay Meena were present on this occasion.

Mr. Athawale guided the attendees for the growth of the industry. Youths in Gadchiroli district should try to turn to industry. For this, assistance from MSMEs can be taken from Rs. 10 to 15 crores. He said that there is a need to guide the youth for this. He suggested in the meeting that the schemes should be successfully implemented to improve the economic condition of the people by promoting skill- based training, promoting agriculture and dairy.

On this occasion, he appreciated the contribution of the officials in the district and asserted that official’s role is important during the development.

While talking to reporters, he said that he will discuss with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari to solve the problem of national highway in the district. Development is taking place in the country through various schemes like Jan Dhan Yojana, Mudra Yojana, Ujjwal Bharat Yojana, Gharkool Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Yojana under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He assured to inform the state to fill the post of Deputy Commissioner in Social Justice Department immediately.

Mr. Ramdas Athawale visited the Vedanti De-addiction Center run with the financial assistance of the Central government. At this time, he sought information about the work and also discussed with the recruits. He also met the youths who had come out of the de-addiction centre and talked to them. Director of the Center Milind Dongre gave information on this occasion.
