Gadchiroli Sept. 21 (District Correspondent) The former Guardian Minister of the district Raje Ambrishrao Atram had organized a marathon competition “PM Skill for Run” at Aheri the other day to mark the birth day of Prime Minister Shri Narendraji Modi. This competition received a huge response. More than 250 youths had participated in the marathon and they were provided T shirts, glucose water by Mr. Atram.
Marathon competition was organized under the guidance of Principal Vaibhav Bongirwar and D. H. Chavan.
The competition was inaugurated by Mr. Manoj Kalbande, PI Aheri, and Mr. Sagar Bittiwar, Sarpancha, V. B. Chavan, API Aheri were present as the chief guests.
In men’s group, Rakesh Chaudhary won the first prize of Rs. 3000, Ramesh Talande got the second prize of Rs. 2000 and Ajay Chalakh bagged the third prize of Rs. 1000. In women’s group, Pratibha Alam was given the first prize of Rs. 3000, Ankita Gawde second prize of Rs. 2000 and Bhumika Dange won the third prize of Rs. 1000.
Incentive Awards were given to Ankita Anil Madavi 10 years and Nikita Anil Madavi 12 years. Due to their age, they were not allowed to participate but they ran on their own responsibility and won first and second place. Raje Ambrishrao Maharaj, Mr. Kalbandhe, API Chavan, Prin. Vaibhav Bongirwar gave them personal prizes.
