Gadchiroli Jan. 24 (District Correspondent) A grand Kabaddi match was organized in the Patangan of Malezeri at village Malezeri in Mulchera taluka by Raje Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vyayam Prasarak Mandal and Veer Baburao Shedmake Memorial Committee.
The program was inaugurated by Raje Ambrishrao Atram, former Minister of State of Maharashtra and former Guardian Minister of the district. Mr. Badal Shah, District Secretary BJP presided over the programme while Mr. Prakash Datta, Taluka President BJP, Bidhan Vaidya, General Secretary Bengali Aghadi, Subhash Ganpati, District General Secretary, Vamanrao Kannake, Social Worker, Santosh Urete, Youth Leader Ganesh Gharghate, Prakash Kannake were prominently present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion Raje Ambrishrao said that through the sport of Kabaddi, the youth can make their own future and take the name of their area to a higher level through their skill. Till date, I have been encouraging the youth in our area for every sports and they should make a name for themselves in the field of sports.
Mr. Atram promised the youths that he would always come forward in social work and will continue to cooperate with them in every possible manner. Also, the village Malezeri needs a sports complex for the youth to play, he opined out and assured that he will make necessary efforts in that direction. I will also try to empower women through self-help groups, he said.
On this occasion, Raje Ambrishrao Atram enjoyed a little bit of Kabaddi competition with the players. He wished the team, players and audience who participated in this grand competition which is very popular in the village, good luck. A large number of players and kabaddi lovers attended the programme.
