Gadchiroli Feb. 28 (District Correspondent) The players from aheri who participated in various sports contests and bagged the championships were accorded felicitation by Raje Ambrishrao Atram, former Minister of state recently.
The team of Yasin Feroze Ali Syed, Amol Purohit, Yuvraj Ambaghre won the gold medal in the 2023-24 Maharashtra Karate Olympics. Yasin Ali, Pratham Koret, Yuvraj Ambaghre, Rabushr, Amol Purohit got silver medals in the same contest.
Also, the 2024 All India Wushu Championship was played in Kashmir in which Kuyash Padalwar, a student from Aheri won the gold medal. Therefore, all these athletes were felicitated.
On getting this matter known, the former Minister of State and former Guardian Minister Raje Ambrishrao Atram invited all the players to the Raj Mahal and felicitated them by giving them bouquets of flowers. He extended them best wishes for the future.
On this occasion, all the functionaries and workers of Bharatiya Janata Party of Aheri taluka, local villagers were present in large numbers.
