Gadchiroli July 15 (District correspondent) A new building of Police Assistance Center of village Patagudam in Sironcha taluka was inaugurated recently in presence of DIG Sandeep Patil and SP Nilotpal the other day. A public awareness camp was also organized on the occasion under ‘Dadalora Khidki’ programme.
More than 500 tribals attended this programme and they were distributed daily use material like spray pumps, note books, pens, saris, umbrellas, cricket bats, volleyball nets etc. As many as 100 books were gifted by the police department to a library that was started under ‘one village-one library’ initiative.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Patil assured the villagers that the police department will always stand behind them and will make efforts for providing employment to the youths.
Mr. Nilotpal said that the police department has started pre recruitment centre for the youths and appealed the youths to avail the benefit of this centre and join the police service.
Mr. Kumar Chinta, additional SP spoke in Telugu language with the people and understood their problems on the occasion. Also present on the occasion were Mr. Anuj Tare, Yatish Deshmukh, Additional SPs, Suhas Shinde, SDPO Sironcha.
Mr. Shrikishan Kande made an introductory speech and Mr. Suhas Shinde proposed the vote of thanks. Mr. Rushikesh Talekar, Abhijeet Tuturwad and others took pains for the success of this programme.
