Gadchiroli Dec. 9 (District Correspondent) Chetan Pandurang Uchitkar, a blind boy who is a resident of Kekatumra village in Washim taluka and is the brand ambassador of Washim District Eye Donation Promotion Committee, won the hearts of all in the inspirational guidance program organized at the Government English Medium Ashram School, Gadchiroli and gave a new message and energy to the tribal students.

A project-level sports meet under the Integrated Tribal Development Project Gadchiroli was held recently at the Archery Training Centre grounds on Semana Bypass Road here. On the instructions of Project Officer Vikas Rachelwar, a musical program and motivational guidance was organized during this meet. Chetan Sevankur Orchestra Washim performed in the programme.

In this program, Chetan Uchitkar, who was struggling with life, and his fellow blind youths gave inspiration to live an optimistic life through their songs. The blind youths tried to show through this program that no matter how many difficulties a person faces in life and even if he is physically handicapped, he can create a new world of his own and even the impossible things are possible, if he has determination in his mind. The purpose behind this program was to create awareness in the minds of the students.

Chetan said, I am blind and cannot see anything. I cannot see the beauty of the world with my eyes. Still, I am living happily. Then you are all eyes. So, students should achieve their high goals without fear. On this occasion, he called upon the students to prove their quality and make an impression of personality.

Along with Chetan, the parents of 15 blind children, Pandurang Prachikar, Ashwini Pawar, Vikas Gadekar, Dashrath Jogdand, Vijay Khadse, Gajanan Dabhade, Dheeraj Chorpagar and other actors participated.

Assistant Project Officer Anil Somankar, Dr. Prabhu Sadamwar, Prin. Vandana Mahalle, Project Sports Coordinator Satish Pawar, Pramila Dahagaonkar, Prin. Samsherkhan Pathan, Santosh Kannake, Mukesh Gedam, Head of Publicity Sudhir Shende, Mahesh Borewar, Anand Bahirewar, Nitin Chambulwar, Kishore Chilamwar , Sandhya Chilamwar, Pratibha Banit, Devidas Chopde, Nima Rathod, staff and students were present in large numbers.

Lions Club Gadchiroli, Sacchidanand Tractors Gadchiroli, Rajmata Rajkuvar Shikshan Sanstha Aheri, Tribal Youth Ashram School Kanhalgaon, Aided Ashram School Japatalai, Chandala, Murmadi, Gatta, Gundapalli, Girola took initiative for this program.
