Gadchiroli Sept. 8 (District Correspondent) MSEDCL Technical Workers Union celebrated its 45th anniversary with enthusiasm with various activities recently.
At the outset, a Union flag was hoisted in the premises of Union office. Also, a blood donation camp was held at the District Women’s Hospital in Gadchiroli to commemorate the anniversary. As many as 14 members of the Union and blood donors donated their blood in this camp. Mr. Gajanan Kohle gave information about blood donation and himself donated blood for the 22nd time.
The camp was inaugurated by Union President G.P. Chawke. Mr. M. G. Chichghare, former zone office bearer, presided over. Additional District Surgeon Dr. Kilnake, Central Organizer of Operators Union Nitin Sonkusare, Former Zone Officer Gajanan Kohle, Credit Union Vice President Dilip Talewar Secretary Sunil Pakalwar, Zone Representative Yuvraj Kodape, Shirish Raut, Circle President R.J. Baghel were prominently present.
While delivering the presidential speech, Manohar Chichghare told about the various activities of the organization. The program was moderated by Circle Secretary Krishna Inkane. Secretary of Gadchiroli Division Santosh Meshram gave vote of thanks. The functionaries and members of Gadchiroli, Alapalli and Bramhapuri divisions of MSEDCL were present in large number.
On the occasion, tree plantation was also done in the premises of Mahavitaran Gadchiroli division office. Deputy Manager J.C. Ramteke, Nitin Waghmare of Divisional Office attended the program. They were felicitated on behalf of the organization.
Yuvraj Kodape made an introductory speech, Nitin Sonkusare gave the details of the activities of the organization.
Other officials of MSEDCL RK Meshram, DJ Dudhabale, BT Borkar, Sudhir Chaudhary, Sandeep Bhandarkar, Divakar Varkhade, KR Ghodmare, Mahesh Bankar, Nikesh Dhakate, Srikanth Atram, Vitthal Somankar took pains for organizing blood donation camp and tree plantation.
