Korchi Feb. 5 (Our Correspondent) A married woman from Korchi committed suicide by hanging herself in her own house last midnight. Ms. Archana Ranjit Sahare (36) is the name of the woman.
According to reports, Archana was living with her family in a rented house at Korchi. On Sunday evening, deceased Archana, had gone to a programme in the town along with her husband Ranjit Sahare daughter Nancy (5) and son Arman (2). All the family came back to their home and went to bed.
In the middle of the night, Archana woke up and committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan in the room with her scarf. Before committing suicide, she wrote a note saying “whatever I am doing, I myself am responsible for this. I am tired of this life. I hope that my family will be happy when I am gone. I am asking for forgiveness from my husband, I am leaving you. I hope that you will take good care of the children, they will miss me. If mother’s love remains incomplete, please fulfil it.”
After the husband Ranjit woke up at around 3 early in the morning, he saw that his wife has committed suicide by hanging herself. He immediately called the people of the area and the house owner and informed about the incident. Holding both the children, Ranjit started crying.
The incident was reported at Korchi Police Station upon which the police reached the spot and started investigation by conducting a panchnama. After this, a postmortem was conducted at Korchi Rural Hospital the body was handed over to the husband. The body of the woman was then cremated this afternoon.
A case of accidental death has been registered in this regard and further investigations are in progress.
