Madgi Samaj Samiti meeting held- community issues discussed.

Gadchiroli Sept. 6 (District Correspondent) A meeting of Maharashtra Madgi Samaj Samiti was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Harishchandra Nakalwar, Working President of the Samiti and main presence of Mr. Samaya Pasula senior leader and former ZP chief recently at the PWD Guest house here.

Prof. Arun Allewar, Central Member, Mr. Daulatrao Pavre, Kashinath Devgade, Devaji Latkar, Keshav Latilwar, Mandip Goradwar were prominently present.

Various issues confronting the community were discussed in this meeting and it was resolved to struggle for solving them unitedly. It was also decided to strengthen the organization and create awareness among the community members about their rights.

Addressing the meeting Prof. Nakkanwar expressed the need of coming together of the community members in the present scenario and called upon the workers to work whole heartedly for strengthening the organization.

Mr. Pasula called upon the youth workers to work for the development of the society. Injustice and oppression of the community has been going on for years. The youths are deprived of higher education, scholarship, etc. and voice should be raised on these issues, he appealed.

While discussing the important issues, it was agreed that there should be community unity through the organization and a sense of friendship between the organizations and the community.

The district executive committee of the Samiti was expanded in the meeting. Mr. Samayya Pasula, Dewaji Latkar and Keshao Latelwar were appointed on the central committee of the M-4 Federation of the community, the highest state level body of the community.

A general body meeting of the M-4 Federation has been organized at Pune shortly to discuss the issues and chalk out strategies. The members were appealed to attend this meeting in large numbers.

The office bearers from Chandrapur, Bhandara and Gadchireli district participated in this meeting. Mr. Samayya Pasula and other workers took pains for the success of the meeting.
