Congress Party felicitates senior teachers on Teachers Day.

Gadchiroli Sept. 6 (District Correspondent) Age old teachers in the city were accorded felicitation by the Congress Party at its district office here on Monday to mark the Teachers Day.

Mr. Keshavrao Katratwar, retired Head Master of Mujicipal School, Rambhau Dhakate, Sitaram Sahare, senior teachers, Pandit Pudke, retired Principal of Vasant Vidyalaya and Ms. Manjutai Vishnoi, retired Principal of Vidya Bharti Girls High School were felicitated by presenting them shawl, coconut and bouquets at the hands of Mr. Marotrao Kowase, former MP.

State Congress Secretary Dr. Nitin Kodwate, City Congress President Satish Vidhate, Teacher Cell District President Devaji Sontakke, Women’s Congress State Secretary Bhavna Wankhede, Scheduled Caste Division President Rajinikanth Motghare, Cooperation Cell President Shamrao Chaple, OBC Cell President Pandurang Ghotekar, Kisan Cell President Vamanrao Savasakde, Scheduled Caste Women Cell President Aparna Khewale, District Secretary Sunil Chadgulwar were prominently present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Kowase appreciated the services rendered by the teachers saying they have great role in creating the students with character and quality. All these teachers devoted their time and energy in the task of education and their work has really been inspirational, he added. Mr. Kowase extended his best wishes and long and healthy life to the teachers.

Also present on the occasion were senior Congress workers   Rakesh Ratnawar, Harbaji More, Kashinath Bhadke, Abdul Panjwani, Baburao Gadsulwar, Arun Punyapareddiwar, Gulabrao Madavi, Samayya Pashula, I B Sheikh, Sonu Madavi, Asha Meshram, Neeta Wadettiwar, Javed Khan, Prabhakar Mediwar and others.

Mr. Praveen Yedlawar moderated the program and vote of thanks was given by Sunil Chadgulwar.
