Republican Party workers to launch agitation on public issues.


Gadchiroli Sept. 6 (District Correspondent) A meeting of All Indian Republican Party’s Gadchiroli taluka unit was held at Chandekar Bhavan here the other day.

Mr. Pralhad Raipure, Taluka President of the party, presided over the meeting while Mr. Hansraj Undirwade, District General Secretary, Ahok Khobragade, Office Secretary, Narendra Raipure, District Youth President, Punjaram Jambhulkar, Taluka Secretary were prominently present.

Various important issues of the people of the taluka were discussed in the meeting which included relief to flood affected farmers, tarring of rural roads, crematorium in every village, waiving of crop loan, reducing electricity bills etc. It was decided to launch an agitation for these issues.

The workers also decided to strengthen the party by opening units in every village and to contest the coming Zilla Parishad and Panchayat elections with full might. Mr. Undirwade and Raipure guided the workers on party organization in this meeting and called upon them to work for solving people’s problems.

Also present in the meeting were Hamaji Sahare, Narayan Sakhre, Dadaji Dhakde, P. P. Gowardhan, Ashok Undirwade and others.
