Gadchiroli Nov. 16 (District Correspondent) On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, a grand night open kabaddi tournament was organized by Yuva Kabaddi Club Arsoda in Armori taluka.
The tournament was inaugurated at the hands of Mr. Prakash S. Porediwar, senior cooperative leader. Mr. Ashok Nete, MP. Presided. Armori MLA Krishnaji Gajbe, District General Secretary of BJP Sadanand Kuthe, Taluk President Pankaj Kharwade, Ashok Bhoyar, Yadav Pradhan, Abhimanyu Raut, Digambar Bulle, Shalikarao Patre, Khemraj Jambule, Sagar Bantiwar, Nandu Nakatode were prominently present.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Nete said that the youths should participate in such outdoor programs and play the games by giving scope to their sports qualities. Youths should develop their personality through sports.
The first prize of Rs. 21001 was sponsored by MP Ashok Nete, second prize of Rs. 15001 by Mr. Prakash Poreddiwar and third prize of Rs. 11001 by MLA Krishnaji Gajbe. Certificates and prizes were distributed to the winners and participants at the hands of the guests.
